Position Summary

The Department of Kinesiology in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator position in the new Master of Occupational Therapy program at the rank of assistant/associate professor beginning September 1, 2017. This will be a non-tenure track, 12 month position. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the fieldwork experiences in the MOT program, including the selection and development of fieldwork assignments, oversight of the student fieldwork experiences, and instruction of the fieldwork educators. Teaching responsibilities will be in the Occupational Therapy program, with specific course assignments based on the individual’s background and interests. Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, DSc, EdD, DHS) is preferred, master’s degree in a related area and current Illinois licensure or eligibility required. Experience teaching at the collegiate level and in an online or blended format preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, mentoring of students, and ongoing scholarship/creative work.
