Position Summary

The Department of Education at North Central College seeks applications for part-time instructors to teach the following courses during the Winter 2018 term (January 2, 2018-March 13, 2018):

EDN 326 Elementary Teaching I – Science
MWF 10:40-11:50 AM
This course is the traditional methods course elementary education majors take to learn methods of teaching science to children in grades 1-6.

EDN 403 High School Assessment of Learning
Thursdays 5:00-8:30 PM
This course covers the principles, methods, and techniques of assessing learning of middle school and high school students that communicates to students and parents and informs teacher decision-making.

Candidates with a doctoral degree in Education and teaching experience are preferred, a master’s degree is required. Applicants should also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in higher education teaching and mentoring.
